Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
1.1. The promoter is The Box London Limited, company number 10561616,
with its address at 4–6 Ram Place, London, E9 6LT (“The Box”, “we”, “us”
or “our”).

2. Promotion Period
2.1. The prize draw opens when the competition post is published on The
Box London’s Instagram account on 5 th October 2026 and closes at 6:00pm
on 7 October 2026 (UK time) (“Promotion Period”).
2.2. Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility
3.1. The prize draw is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who are
UK residents.
3.2. Employees of The Box London Limited, their immediate families, and
anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to
enter.
3.3. No purchase is necessary to enter.

4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter the prize draw during the Promotion Period, entrants must:
- follow @thebox.london on Instagram;
- like the relevant Self-Portrait Sample Sale competition post; and
- comment on the post tagging the friend they would bring to the sale.

4.2. Each valid comment tagging a different friend will count as one entry.
Entrants may submit multiple entries, provided a different friend is tagged in
each comment.
4.3. The tagged friend must be aged 18 years or over and a UK resident in
order to receive their part of the prize.
4.4. Entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions will not be
eligible.
4.5. The Box reserves the right to verify that an entrant has complied with
the entry requirements before awarding the prize.

5. The Prize
5.1. There will be one winning entrant.
5.2. The winning entrant and the friend tagged in their winning entry will
each receive a £200 voucher to spend at The Box London’s Self-Portrait
Sample Sale, giving a total prize value of £400.
5.3. The vouchers may only be redeemed in person at the Self-Portrait
Sample Sale taking place at The Box London from 8–11 October 2026.
5.4. Both the winning entrant and their tagged friend must attend the Self-
Portrait Sample Sale in person in order to redeem their respective
vouchers.
5.5. Each voucher is valid for one person only and has a maximum value of
£200. Any spend above £200 must be paid by the relevant prize recipient.
5.6. Any unused balance will not be paid in cash or carried forward for use
at another sale.
5.7. The vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or resold.
5.8. The prize does not guarantee the availability of any particular product,
size or item. All stock is subject to availability.

6. Winner Selection
6.1. The winning entry will be selected at random from all valid entries
received during the Promotion Period.
6.2. The winner will be selected using a verifiably random process or under
the supervision of an independent observer.
6.3. The Box will retain appropriate evidence of the winner selection
process.

7. Notification of the Winner
7.1. The winner will be contacted by The Box London via Instagram direct
message from @thebox.london.
7.2. The Box will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner following
the close of the prize draw.
7.3. The winner must respond to The Box and accept the prize by 6:00pm
on 8 October 2026.
7.4. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond by 6:00pm on 8
October 2026, or is found to be ineligible, The Box reserves the right to
select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
7.5. The winner will be responsible for notifying the friend tagged in their
winning entry and ensuring that they are able to redeem their portion of the
prize.
7.6. Both the winner and their tagged friend may be required to provide
proof of identity and eligibility before redeeming the prize.

8. Winner Publicity
8.1. The Box may make available information indicating that a valid prize
award has taken place, which may ordinarily include the winner’s surname.
8.2. Entrants may object to, or request a reduction in, the amount of
personal information made publicly available by contacting The Box at the
address set out below.
8.3. If an entrant objects to publication or requests a reduction in the
information published, The Box may nevertheless be required to provide
information to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.
9. Instagram
9.1. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or
associated with Instagram.
9.2. By entering, participants acknowledge that Instagram has no
responsibility or liability in connection with the promotion.
9.3. Entrants must comply with Instagram’s applicable terms and policies
when participating in the promotion.

10. General
10.1. The prize is as described and there is no cash alternative.
10.2. The Box reserves the right to disqualify any entry which it reasonably
believes does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or has been made
fraudulently.
10.3. The Box reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the
promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this
necessary. Any such change will only be made where reasonably
necessary and will not unfairly disadvantage entrants.
10.4. The Box will not be responsible for any failure to receive an entry or
for any technical, administrative or other failure beyond its reasonable
control.
10.5. By entering the prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these
Terms & Conditions.
10.6. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and
Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England
and Wales.

11. Data Protection
11.1. Personal information collected in connection with the prize draw will
be used for the purposes of administering the promotion, including verifying
entries, selecting and contacting the winner and fulfilling the prize.
11.2. Personal information will be handled in accordance with The Box
London Limited’s applicable privacy policy.
11.3. Entering the prize draw does not automatically subscribe participants
to marketing communications unless they have separately consented to
receive them.
