ABOUT THE BOX
The Box is a leading luxury sample sale retailer, partnering with some of the world’s most recognised fashion and lifestyle brands to bring exclusive sale events to a highly engaged membership base.
We’re a lean, ambitious team and we move fast. This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal moment as we scale our membership offering and professionalise our marketing function.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative, organised and hands-on Social Media & Content Specialist to own the day-to-day creation and management of content across The Box’s social channels.
This role is perfect for someone who understands fashion, has a strong eye for content, and can move quickly from idea to execution. You’ll be responsible for capturing and editing content for our in-store sales, creating digital assets for online campaigns, supporting paid social activity, and helping grow our Instagram and TikTok communities.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager, agencies and brand partners to make sure each sale is promoted in a way that feels exciting, premium, and on-brand for both The Box and the brands we work with.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being on the ground, spotting content opportunities, and turning them around quickly.
What you'll do:
- Shoot, edit and create premium content for Instagram and TikTok, including behind-the-scenes, product, customer and event content.
- Plan, deliver and manage the social media calendar across Instagram and TikTok, across in-store sales, online events and wider marketing activity.
- Create digital assets for Meta and TikTok ads, social campaigns, email marketing and the website.
- Create social assets for e-commerce sales using product imagery and brand assets.
- Build and maintain influencer outreach lists to support sale promotion, including managing relationships with influencers we have worked with.
- Grow The Box’s social presence through creative, platform-native content.
- Spot trends, content opportunities and new ways to engage our community.
- Adapt content to different brand aesthetics, customer profiles and campaign goals.
- Manage social DMs and community interactions, escalating customer service queries when needed.
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Experience managing social media channels for a brand, ideally across Instagram and TikTok.
- A strong visual eye and understanding of what makes content engaging.
- Experience shooting content on iPhone and digital camera.
- Confident editing short-form video and photo content.
- Proficient experience using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, formats and platform best practices.
- Ability to build and maintain a clear social media calendar.
- Comfortable working quickly and to tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary fashion, luxury fashion and culture.
- Ability to understand different brand aesthetics and tailor content accordingly.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple campaigns at once.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Desirable:
- Experience with influencer outreach or PR gifting.
- Experience supporting paid social campaigns, particularly Meta ads.
- Experience creating content for fashion, retail, events or luxury brands.
- Basic copywriting skills for captions, email assets and campaign messaging.
- Experience using TikTok to grow brand awareness and engagement.
What we offer
- A creative, hands-on role with real ownership.
- The opportunity to shape and grow The Box’s social presence.
- A fast-paced role working with exciting fashion and lifestyle brands.
- Competitive salary.
- Early access to exclusive sample sale events and staff discounts.

HYBRID · LONDON · FULL-TIME · MARKETING
Digital Growth Manager
Key Details
Company: The Box
Location: London (hybrid)
Contract type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive
Reporting to: Director of Operations & Company Director/Founder
ABOUT THE BOX
The Box is a leading luxury sample sale retailer, partnering with some of the
world’s most recognised fashion and lifestyle brands to bring exclusive sale
events to a highly engaged membership base. We work with multiple
prestigious brands and operate a growing digital membership programme.
We’re a lean, ambitious team and we move fast. This is a rare opportunity to
join at a pivotal moment as we scale our membership offering and
professionalise our marketing function.
The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Digital Growth Manager to own acquisition, conversion, and retention across our digital channels and membership funnel. This is a newly created position and a genuine opportunity to build something - you'll have real ownership and direct impact on revenue.
You'll take a full-funnel view of the member lifecycle - acquisition, activation, retention, referral and revenue - running a continuous programme of experiments to find and scale what works. You'll act as the internal conductor for all growth activity: managing our agency partner, briefing our content team, and holding the wider team to account against a shared testing roadmap.
You'll have the opportunity to pitch exciting partnership opportunities and develop new ways for us to grow our community, from London to the rest of the UK.
What you’ll do
Growth strategy & experimentation
• Own the full-funnel growth strategy, setting priorities against a shared roadmap
• Run a structured, always-on testing programme - hypothesis-led A/B and multivariate experiments across landing pages, email, checkout and the membership funnel
• Identify and prioritise growth opportunities, balancing quick wins with longer-term structural improvements
Acquisition & paid performance
• Manage our agency partner across paid social and paid search, briefing campaigns, reviewing performance, and optimising spend efficiency across a monthly budget
• Build and maintain the digital growth calendar across paid, organic, email and event-based activity
CRM, lifecycle & retention
• Manage the CRM alongside our agency partner: segmentation, automated lifecycle flows, list hygiene, and performance reporting
• Lead all email marketing: campaign planning, copywriting briefs, A/B testing, and deliverability management
• Drive membership growth and retention - owning the acquisition funnel from first touch through to renewal, and designing referral and reactivation mechanics
Team coordination
• Coordinate our content team with clear briefs, a shared calendar, and consistent brand output
• Set the strategy and hold the wider team - agency, content, and internal stakeholders - to account against agreed growth targets
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- 3-5 years of growth or digital marketing experience, with demonstrable ownership of full-funnel performance (not just channel execution)
- A track record of running structured experimentation - designing tests, interpreting results, and scaling what works
- Hands-on experience with a major CRM/ESP platform (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Dotdigital or similar) and web/product analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel or similar)
- Experience working closely with agencies and partnerships
- Strong analytical capability - comfortable with attribution modelling, cohort analysis, and building your own reports
- Excellent written communication skills - able to brief, edit, and where needed, write
- A track record of managing budgets and being accountable for commercial outcomes
- Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-moving SME environment
Desirable:
- Background in retail, fashion, luxury, or events-led brands
- Experience working with loyalty, tiered membership, or subscription programmes
- Working knowledge of SEO, CRO tooling (e.g. Hotjar, VWO, Optimizely)
HOW TO APPLY
Please apply with your CV and a short covering note (no more than a paragraph) explaining why this role and why now. We will ask shortlisted candidates to complete a brief practical task as part of the process.
We aim to move quickly - first interviews within two weeks of the closing date.
